“Independence Day Celebrations with Investiture Ceremony at Sri Vidyaranya International School (SVIS)”
SVIS celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The day was marked with a special Investiture Ceremony, where our young leaders were bestowed with responsibilities and duties.
The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy (Member of Parliament) and Guest Of Honour Shri Sudhakar Reddy Lingam (Dakshina Madhya Kshetra Sanghatana Mantri, Vidya Bharati) who inspired our students with his thought-provoking speech on the significance of independence and leadership. The occasion is also graced by the presence of Shri Mallaiah Pasarti ( Secretary of SVIS and Vice-president of Sri Saraswati Vidyapeetham) and Social worker and philanthropist Shri Mahalingam Gaud ji.
The Investiture Ceremony saw the induction of our new Student Council, comprising of:
– Head Boy
– Head Girl
– Deputy Head Boy
– Deputy Head Girl
– Presidents and Secretary of School clubs
– House Captains
– Vice House Captains
Our Principal, Dr. Anup Sharma administered the oath to the newly appointed council members, charging them with the responsibility of upholding the values of leadership, integrity, and teamwork.
The event also featured a cultural program, showcasing the rich heritage of our nation through music and dance performances.
In his address, Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy emphasized the importance of responsible leadership and encouraged our students to become active participants in nation-building.
