It is the Guru that leads you from visible to invisible, from material to divine, from ephemeral to eternal.

SVIS celebrated Guru Purnima on 24 July, 2021 to acknowledge the contribution of Gurus and teachers in shaping up the young personalities and removing darkness from the ignorant minds.

The program started with lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Shri P Rajamouli garu and principal, Smt. Srilatha Ch.

To sensitize the students with the Guru shishya relationship, our principal and the staff paid their felicitation and salutations to the chief guest Shri Rajamouli garu.

The chief guest in his speech explained the difference between a Guru and a teacher, their impact on students’ life and enlightened the audience with the significance of Guru Purnima. Principal, Smt Srilatha addressed the gathering and gave an insight on the importance of this day.

The students were given a powerful message to be humble, respectful and thankful to their teachers as they teach life lessons leading to success and happiness. They presented a short cultural program comprising of Ganapathi Vandana, few famous quotes, poems and speeches.The programme ended with a vote of thanks.

It was a reverent moment altogether.
