SUMMARY:Professional Development Sessions- April 2024
DESCRIPTION:Professional Development Sessions- April 2024\nSVIS recognizes that our teachers must lead by example and provides numerous professional development opportunities to sharpen their existing skills and cultivate new ones. We train our faculty to be passionate about teaching and work together towards a collaborative\, cohesive and wholesome education. Four days of professional development sessions were organised from April 24 till April 27\, 2024. SVIS Principal Dr Anup Sharma and renowned Prof Upender Reddy ji conducted the sessions. Each day started by Morning Saraswathi Vandana and ended with Shanti Patham.\nOn the first day\, our Principal Sir\, Dr. Anup Sharma empowered our teachers with the sessions on Classroom Management\, Questioning: An Important Teaching skill to customise practices suitable for their social\, cultural\, and educational context.\nSecond day\, teachers Learn about designing authentic assessments that promote meaningful feedback followed by innovative teaching methods to enhance student participation and creativity. Prof Uender Reddy ji conducted session on key principles and reforms outlined in the National Education Policy 2020.\nDr Anup sharma conducted a session on communication skills for positive interactions with students\, parents\, and colleagues. In the next session\, Teachers learned to develop lesson plans with differentiation strategies.  During the last session everyone reflected on key takeaways from PD days and discussed to develop action plans for implementation.\nThese sessions equippedteachers with techniques and modern pedagogy strategies that helps them to better connect manage\, and teach to their students in a manner which ensures that all students are learning and benefitting.

SUMMARY:Independence Day 2024 and Investiture Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:“Independence Day Celebrations with Investiture Ceremony at Sri Vidyaranya International School (SVIS)”\n\n\nSVIS celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The day was marked with a special Investiture Ceremony\, where our young leaders were bestowed with responsibilities and duties.\n\n\nThe event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest\, Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy (Member of Parliament) and Guest Of Honour Shri Sudhakar Reddy Lingam (Dakshina Madhya Kshetra Sanghatana Mantri\, Vidya Bharati) who inspired our students with his thought-provoking speech on the significance of independence and leadership. The occasion is also graced by the presence of Shri Mallaiah Pasarti ( Secretary of SVIS and Vice-president of Sri Saraswati Vidyapeetham) and Social worker and philanthropist Shri Mahalingam Gaud ji.\n\n\nThe Investiture Ceremony saw the induction of our new Student Council\, comprising of:\n\n\n– Head Boy\n– Head Girl\n– Deputy Head Boy\n– Deputy Head Girl\n– Presidents and Secretary of School clubs\n– House Captains\n– Vice House Captains\n\n\nOur Principal\, Dr. Anup Sharma administered the oath to the newly appointed council members\, charging them with the responsibility of upholding the values of leadership\, integrity\, and teamwork.\n\n\nThe event also featured a cultural program\, showcasing the rich heritage of our nation through music and dance performances.\n\n\nIn his address\, Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy emphasized the importance of responsible leadership and encouraged our students to become active participants in nation-building.\n\n\nWe are grateful for his presence and guidance. Congratulations to our new Student Council!\n\n\nJai Hind! Bharat Mata ki jai!
